Our High School Government class will be making a trip to the State Capitol, and you all are invited.
We will be meeting the Legislative Director for our State Representative (District 17, Stan Gerdes), Morgan Neptune-Benton, at Extension 2, Room 2.816. For extra credit my class will come up with questions to ask Mrs. Neptune-Benton during our meeting.
After we meet the Legislative Director, we will either do a self-guided tour of the Capitol building, or we will have a formal tour. I am waiting on confirmation.
Please pack a lunch so that we can eat on the Capitol grounds somewhere during the day.
